Health & Safety is priority

Workplace Group take health and safety issues seriously and are committed to protecting the health and safety of our staff and all those affected by our work, particularly during moves or relocations.

Through our vast experience in this field, whether we are moving 2 desks or 200, we understand the risks involved in this process and insist on conducting a full H&S audit which forms part of the logistics when we come to plan your office relocation. Our care of course extends to any of your own staff still working on site and we take paramount responsibility for their safety whilst our teams go about their work.

PPE is both a legal and moral obligation for all our employees. Steel capped boots, gloves, eye protection and hard hats must always be worn when required. We always ensure one member of our team has received basic first aid training and a team leader is always present as a point of contact.

Most of our staff are qualified with CSCS and therefore able to work on building sites or part built offices to meet your own timeframes and logistical requirements when moving into new premises.


Workplace Office Warehouse

Workplace Group are on hand to provide labour for office clearances and have refreshed working environments where the removal and disposal of used furniture is necessary.

As part of our environmental policy, all furniture fittings and equipment from removals or clearances will wherever possible be recycled and we will seek opportunities for reuse within charities, schools and other good causes. We regularly donate high quality refurbished products and believe in giving back when possible.

In 2018, we proudly opened the Workplace Office Warehouse, dedicated to recycling and upcycling furniture. Everything we remove from offices is fully inspected, refurbished and reconditioned wherever possible giving it a new lease of life. For customers with a small budget or looking to start up a business with reduced costs, the Workplace Office Warehouse can offer a wide range of high quality, recycled products from pedestals to chairs to desks. Our stock changes constantly and we believe this positive approach to upcycling is a simple but effective way of lowering landfill waste and providing a valuable service for the cost conscious who still value the difference that high quality furniture makes to their environment.
